Organic Certified Coffee, available for the first time at Minas Hill

Organic Certified Coffee has arrived from Bela Epoca Farm, Brazil

Organic coffees are a strong feature of the Bela Epoca Farm, where sections of its fields are separated specifically for the growing of organic coffee. Bela Epoca Farm recently started to industrialise part of the production, separating the best lots and focusing on ‘specialty’ organic coffee.

All organic production is from Arabica beans, either Yellow Bourbon or Yellow Obatan. With an intense aroma and notes of fruits and caramel, Bela Epoca Organic has a persistent and pleasant flavour, free from astringency with a balanced acidity. In the cup you will find notes of dried fruits and bakers’ cocoa, with slight honey sweetness.

All production is tracked and certified:

  • IBD – Organic (Brazil)
  • JAS – Organic (Japan)
  • USDA – Organic (USA)
  • UE – Organic (Europe)
Organic Certified Coffee. Bela Epoca is also RFA, 4C, IBD Organico, USDA, JAS and UE Organic.

At Minas Hill, we have ourselves been working to become ‘organic certified’ with the ACO (Australian Certified Organic) program:

ACO certification requires a business to comply with a firm set ofstandards related to marketing claims and labelling. Achieving certification allows the business to display the ACO Logo on their products and advertising.

ACO Wholesaler Certification requires that a business:

  • be a first or second business after primary production
  • trades processed products which have been manufactured by a certified contractor
  • repacks bulk products without further blending or processing

Our audit report was positive and we are now proudly ACO certified!
